Challenges we face when dealing with 
artifacts and photos

ith lifetime experiences producing photographic images you can imagine the universal problem we all have. Our children and grandchildren have to decide what to do with all of our keepsakes. Their first impulse might be to dump the stuff!

Well they can, but it is hoped that this site will keep a little of that "stuff" around after the physical items are gone. Survivorship of sorts, courtesy of modern web technology (and the annual maintenance fee) to your website host. :) Still, don't knock survival. Health care and finance are only part of the answer. Simply, we must be made of the right stuff to still be around. Many complain today of how "hard" things are. Believe me- things were a lot tougher (the Great Depression and World War II, to name just a few things). Something to think about the next time the latest Hollywood fads, over-hyped media "crisis", self-anointed "experts" or government "programs" appear on the scene.

With our personal treasures and memories we can perpetuate and contribute to our historical society. As long as we have children and grandchildren who desire to know us, we can share our past and be seen for a while longer, or until the Internet crashes, or bills aren't paid. In theory we could be around forever, if Google's cache can be maintained for the long haul.
