Basic training
There's no rocket science to it..
Unlike music, where an early start is desirable,
computers can be learned at any age. One hour of
personalized training on-site can be the equivalent of
6 hours spent in
a classroom with 10 other people competing for
attention. Try the following:
Basics 1:
Covers basic operations- launching programs, closing
and shutting down, and creating, saving and deleting
files and folders. Introduction to web surfing and
sending e-mail.
Basics 2:
Get up to speed on basic typing- document
formatting and fonts, cutting and pasting, margins and
printing. Expand your knowledge of Windows functions- Control Panel,
screensavers, wallpaper, file types, Recent Documents,
Explorer, working with CD-ROMs, zip
drives and floppy disks, installing and removing
programs.
